Eligibility

Eligibility

To be eligible you must:

  • Be a current undergraduate college student or expect to graduate high school or be a GED credential recipient by July 1, 2019.
  • Be diagnosed with a rare disease indicated below
    • Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)
    • Alagille syndrome
    • CMV in transplant patients
    • Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE)
    • Fabry disease
    • Gaucher disease
    • Hereditary angioedema
    • Hypoparathyroidism
    • Lupus
    • Metachromatic leukodystrophy (MLD)
    • MPS II (Hunter syndrome)
    • Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH)
    • Primary Immunodeficiency
    • Primary sclerosing cholangitis
    • Progressive familial intrahepatic cholestatis
    • Short bowel syndrome
  • Be planning to enroll, or currently enrolled, at an accredited US college or university (undergraduate), or US vocational school
  • Be a US citizen or legal and permanent resident of the US
  • Not be a Shire employee or an immediate family member of a Shire employee
